A Look at Our Store!

Womyns'Ware also ventures out into the world, in various forms and for a variety of interesting reasons. When we do, we like to put our best face forward (Momma always said never to go out with your hair up in curlers!).

Saturday	11 am to 6 pm
Sunday	11:30 am to 6 pm

Unless Otherwise Stated Statutory holiday hours are Noon to 6 pm.

Some tips on finding us via public transit:

The bus that stops right in front of the store North bound is #20 DOWNTOWN. The one that stops practically right in front of us (but across the street and a little further down) South bound is #20 VICTORIA. You can call Translink at 604.683.7245 'cause their operators are extremely helpful with providing exact schedule and route information if you have the address for points A and B. We're just North of the Broadway SkyTrain station, a twenty minute walk or fifteen minute bus transfer on the #20 bus. Or go to www.translink.bc.ca. Always feel free to call us if you need help finding the store!

If driving, here are a few quick reference points:

1st Avenue melds into Highway #1, the Trans Canada Highway, Venables goes directly West into the heart of the downtown core over the Georgia Street viaduct, and Hastings is a quick route to or from the North Shore over the Iron Workers (Second Narrows) Memorial Bridge. Any route from the South (airport or the USA border) will cross Broadway so you can just scoot East along Broadway 'till you hit the Drive.

If travelling by bike:

You can use any of the Adanac, Woodland or Lakewood bikeways to ride to our doorstep where you'll find a handy bike rack made just for your bike to lock up to during your shopping visit. We even have a spare lock and chain for folks that weren't planning to stop but can't help themselves once they see us along their way!

What to expect...Something To Consider Before You Visit

Before you decide to come visit us, if you feel intimidated or anxious (or something along those lines) about visiting 'a sex shop', the very best thing you can do when you get here is say so! Those are complex emotions, and you'd be amazed at how may ways they can manifest themselves in the way you might behave once you get here. Even more amazing, however, is how quickly those feelings dissipate once you speak them out loud AND how much easier it is for the women here to assist you when they immediately understand that you've been feeling anxious about the whole thing before you even got here! Speaking your trepidation is like magic. Try it. We think you'll like it!
