We don’t have products that demand a “Novelty” disclaimer, but we do offer products that are either not sex toys per se or are mostly “just for fun” where the exacting standards of our innovative line up, for example, aren’t a prerequisite. For these products, CandyLand is a helpful title to explain the concept we’re trying to convey.
Our CandyLand products are the sex toy equivalent of the old school confectionaries that existed “back in the day” when in any small town or City neighbourhood you could go to a candy store that specialized in candy ... wall to wall hand built shelves stacked high with glass jars filled with bright coloured sweets of all shapes and sizes, little bags containing sweet treats and tins brimming with carefully crafted goodies. English boiled sweets, Dutch salted licorice, Belgian chocolates and Canadian Maple lozenges to name a few! Candy back then was not the mass-produced, chemical laden fare you find today at the 24-hour grocers. Candy, back then, was often produced by artisans and Century old family operated companies who took pride in their naturally sourced ingredients and their candy making techniques. Their product was to be enjoyed in small quantities and cherished, while acknowledged by all that it was not a substitute for a healthy meal. Treats to whet an appetite, delight the palette at the end of hearty dinner or to celebrate an occasion like a birthday or a holiday.
That’s the role our CandyLand products can play! These are not Pop Rocks, these are cola balls. These are not packages of Hubba Bubba, these are Black Cat Bubble Gums. These are products whose materials, workmanship and warranties meet our purchasing requirements YET we must recognize them for their “nutritional value” within the whole gamut of our sex toy line up.
They are sweets while are Innovative vibes are dinner. They are treats while are Classics are a healthy, balanced breakfast. And they are goodies where our fundamentals are essential nutrients according to the Canada Food Guide. We stress this because we want to be clear that the CandyLand product is good quality product at entry level pricing but we don’t suggest that these products will have the versatility, longevity or performance capacity of the “four basic food groups” toy classifications to come. Rather, CandyLand is for toys as confections are for good boys and girls, fun, celebratory, and exploratory in the way that Willy Wonka’s Everlasting Gob Stoppers can be.
