Both of these toys lean more to the realistic side of the scale (as compared to abstract or ultra realism). The Boss has more definition in every way. The veins are more engorged and the head more prominent than its cousin, Onyx. Onyx looks as though it started out about the same as The Boss but down the road a layer or two was added to soften the overall vein landscape relief.

Both of these guys have a cavity that accepts an included vibe, a nice addition to hand held use. Once the vibe conks out, it can be replaced with a Re-Buzz at minimal cost. For easy removal, the vibe protrudes about ¾” past the base. Of course, removing the vibe makes clean up easier (and risk free).

In general, the base makes these toys suitable for harness use with this caveat: you have to remove the vibe first, and may have to “pack” the cavity to avoid buckling during harness play. The protruding vibe would not be comfortable against the pubic mound.

Vibe runs on three LR44 button cell batteries (included). You might want to keep an extra set on hand as you are not likely to have these lying around the house. One more thing: the bases are minimal so, depending on your harness, you may require a Slip-Not.
