Novel Ideas for Galvanized Buckets Contest Winners!

First Prize goes to...

My galvanized bucket has morphed into a funky lantern. I  have punched several holes into the bucket to outline the shape of a butterfly fluttering over a naked woman basking in the sun. The sun is  punched through the bottom of the bucket and the butterfly and  beautifully rounded naked woman are visible through the sides. The  bucket is attached to a small piece of rebar which holds a candle. So  when you place a small candle on the metal disc the lovely bucket floats  above upside down thus illuminating the curvaceous woman watching the  butterfly drift by. I was so pleased with the results that I gave it  away as a birthday present. This bucket has allowed me to artistically  demonstrate the gorgeous sillouette that a woman's naked body provides.

Second Prize goes to...

Well, at first I used the bucket in my washroom, full of little soaps, hand lotion etc. for guests, but one night I had an epiphany. I was planning a romantic dinner that night, and wanted to get some champagne. Since I don't drink much, I only bought one of the little bottles (I think it was 375ml). I decided to use my little bucket to hold the champagne. I filled it with ice, wrapped the mini-bottle in a face cloth (since a hand towel was WAY too big), and had a lovely wine bucket, even if it was really small. It was quite the hit!

 Third Prize goes to...

After I received my order and tucked everything away from the  prying eyes of my 3 children, I decided to use my bucket for a practical  as well as aesthetic purpose. My bucket sits on my bathroom vanity and  holds my eyeliners and lipsticks. Every time someone sees it and  comments on how cool it looks with makeup in it, I smile and remind  myself of what sat in it before...It's a cheap thrill, but fun! Now I  just need a matching one for my husband's vanity :-)!!
